Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Execute planned preventative maintenance, servicing, and installation for environmental protection equipment.

• Conduct site audits to verify adherence to Adler and Allan standards, client specifications, and safe working practices.

• Foster a robust safety culture while delivering a professional service.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues on-site.

• Assist in the installation, decommissioning, and servicing of interceptor systems and environmental protection equipment.

• Ensure daily tasks are performed safely, accurately, and efficiently.

• Prepare scopes of work, risk assessments, and method statements.

• Operate company vehicles and equipment for which you are suitably qualified.

• Conduct site surveys.

• Aid in the preparation of estimates and client proposals.

• Accurately complete job documentation and submit paperwork within agreed timelines.

• Collaborate with Operations teams to provide practical solutions that satisfy client needs and industry standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Basic understanding of single- and three-phase motors along with electrical control panels.

• Solid grasp of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.

• Familiarity with separator and interceptor systems; knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices is advantageous.

• Awareness of sewage treatment plants and pumping stations.

• Experience in preparing, issuing, and completing RAMS documentation.

• Flexible attitude towards working hours and travel.

• Capability to respond to emergency works as necessary.

• Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.

• Ability to produce clear reports.

• Full UK driving license.

• Right to Work in the UK.

• Willingness to pursue additional training and further develop technical skills.

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations BS 7671 is desirable.

• Level 2 or 3 electrical or mechanical qualification, NVQ, or equivalent is desirable.
