Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance, servicing, and installation of environmental protection equipment.

• Conduct site audits to ensure compliance with Adler and Allan standards, client specifications, and safe working practices.

• Foster a robust safety culture while providing a professional service.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and address technical issues on-site.

• Assist with the installation, decommissioning, and servicing of interceptor systems and environmental protection equipment.

• Carry out daily tasks safely, accurately, and efficiently.

• Prepare scopes of work, risk assessments, and method statements.

• Operate company vehicles and equipment for which you are suitably qualified.

• Perform site surveys and aid in estimates and client proposals.

• Accurately document job details and submit paperwork within agreed timeframes.

• Collaborate with Operations teams to identify issues and provide practical solutions that meet client needs and industry standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fundamental knowledge of single- and three-phase motors and electrical control panels.

• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.

• Familiarity with separator and interceptor systems; knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices is advantageous.

• Understanding of sewage treatment plants and pumping stations.

• Experience in preparing, issuing, and completing RAMS documentation.

• Flexible working hours and travel availability.

• Capacity to respond to emergency work when necessary.

• Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.

• Ability to produce clear and concise reports.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Right to work in the UK.

• Willingness to pursue additional training and further develop technical skills.

• Desirable: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations BS 7671 certification.

• Desirable: Level 2 or 3 electrical or mechanical qualification, NVQ or equivalent.
