This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and repair activities for low voltage distribution gear, transformers, and associated power distribution equipment in a professional manner.
• Prepare technical reports and test sheets, manage spare parts, tools, equipment, and consumables.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations for both the company and specific work sites.
• Participate in relevant site meetings.
• Collaborate with Project Management and Site personnel.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients by listening to their needs and addressing them, or escalating issues within the organization for resolution.
• Maintain regular communication with Project Managers to receive and share information.
• Actively seek to minimize waste and enhance value in all processes.
• Comply with all applicable health and safety regulations and engage in safe work practices.
• Follow company policies and regulations.
• Perform additional duties as necessary.
• An Associate's degree in electrical power distribution or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant work experience in a similar area.
• Military experience is advantageous.
• Experience in Data Centers or similar mission-critical systems is preferred.
• Proven experience with electrical power distribution systems, power monitoring systems, AC/DC electrical power, and familiarity with communication protocols.
• Preferred experience of three to five years in the design of low voltage switchgear assemblies/systems and/or power distribution equipment.
• Knowledge of UL Standards, including UL67 Panelboards, UL1008 Transfer Switch Equipment, UL10008S Static Transfer Switches, UL60950 Information Technology Equipment, UL 891 Switchboards, UL 1558 Metal‐Enclosed Low‐Voltage Power Circuit Breaker Switchgear, and other relevant standards.
