This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Execute advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on designated equipment.
• Carry out installation, validation, and maintenance for assigned equipment.
• Mentor, guide, and support less experienced Field Engineers.
• Offer coaching and constructive feedback to team members.
• Lead customer interactions and act as the escalation point for customer-related issues.
• Manage customer issues from the point of dispatch or identification until resolution.
• Keep designated customers and team members updated on the status of issues.
• Spearhead communication of HQ and Zone or Area-level initiatives.
• Co-facilitate regular team or modality meetings.
• Suggest value-added services to enhance customer business efficiency.
• Maintain logs of customer service and internal service records.
• Order repair parts and oversee cycle times.
• Execute corrective action plans with support from regional and national teams.
• Act as a member and leader within account communities for assigned accounts.
• Engage with commercial counterparts to identify potential sales opportunities.
• Participate in contract renewal processes and revenue initiatives.
• Stay informed about competitor activities and market trends.
• Support business growth alongside Commercial Sales teams and regional/zone leadership.
• Assist in growth and deployment strategies.
• Provide application training to clinical or scientific personnel as needed.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of experience in servicing electrical equipment; OR equivalent military education and 4+ years of experience; OR High School Diploma/GED and 8+ years of experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience under the degree or equivalent military education pathways; 8 years under the high school pathway.
• Proven experience interacting with internal team members and external customers in a solution-oriented service process.
• Experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and addressing customer concerns.
• Familiarity with web applications and the Microsoft suite of products.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• No employment visa sponsorship available now or in the future.
• Successful completion of GEHC’s standard background check, including a post-offer drug test.
• Adherence to customer access policies, including necessary immunizations and additional drug tests or background checks when applicable.
• Capability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. without assistance.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch or squat, kneel or crawl, and remain seated or standing for extended periods.
• Proficiency in reaching at, above, and below shoulder level; flexing or extending the neck; and maintaining good hand and finger dexterity.
• Availability for after-hours work and/or rotating on-call schedules, including weekends.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
