This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.
• Conduct timely and precise preventative maintenance on medical devices within hospitals or healthcare systems.
• Diagnose, repair, and install moderately complex medical equipment.
• Take charge of customer communications and act as the escalation point for client concerns, including installations.
• Manage customer issues from the point of dispatch or identification to resolution.
• Collaborate with team members to provide suitable customer solutions.
• Supervise installations, validations, maintenance, and service repairs on assigned equipment.
• Utilize customer relationships to support clients and enhance service sales through contract and on-demand revenue growth.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure prompt communication, resolution, and follow-up.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols to fulfill regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Record all work performed daily, including debriefing, metrics, and parts ordering.
• Partner with customers and/or sales teams to propose value-added services.
• Employ GE HealthCare escalation procedures and collaborate with regional and national support on corrective action plans.
• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent military education with 4 years of experience in servicing electronic equipment; alternatively, a high school diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Technical skills in troubleshooting, repair, and installation across various modalities.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• Proficiency in web applications and the Microsoft suite of products.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
• Willingness to be available after hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.
• Proven capability to manage multiple, competing priorities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. without assistance.
• Capability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to reach at, above, and below shoulder level, flex/extend the neck, and demonstrate good hand and finger dexterity.
