This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within a designated territory.
• Seek out new logos, greenfield prospects, and underrepresented accounts through cold outreach, site visits, referrals, and networking efforts.
• Develop a sales pipeline and advance opportunities through the entire sales cycle.
• Conduct value-driven, outcome-oriented sales discussions.
• Implement territory and account strategies effectively.
• Offer tactical insights to Strategic Account Managers regarding key site-level accounts.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales Representatives to guarantee aftermarket coverage and a cohesive customer experience.
• Concentrate on machine sales and associated aftermarket prospects while utilizing Inside Sales Representatives for parts and transactional support.
• Address objections, navigate intricate purchasing processes, and compete against established players.
• Propel deal momentum through customer engagement, clear next steps, and proactive follow-up.
• Maintain precise opportunity management, forecasting, and activity tracking in the company CRM system.
• Take ownership of territory performance with defined growth strategies and measurable results.
• Meet KPIs such as new account acquisition, new logo revenue, pipeline creation, site visits, decision-maker engagements, and competitive win rates.
• Candidates must reside in the state of Tennessee.
• A Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Marketing, or a related discipline; or four to five years of pertinent experience in technical sales, business development, or industrial manufacturing environments; or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in an external B2B field sales position, ideally within a technical, capital equipment, or industrial machinery sales setting.
• Experience in the plastics injection molding and/or extrusion sector is preferred.
• Proven ability to identify customer needs, generate demand, overcome objections, negotiate, and close sales.
• Capability to deliver persuasive customer presentations and clearly communicate Milacron’s value proposition.
• Strong comprehension of Milacron injection molding machines, retrofit & rebuild services, and service offerings.
• Familiarity with industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer purchasing behaviors.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% and frequently drive within the region.
