This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.
β’ Acquire comprehensive knowledge of Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting products, encompassing features, benefits, pricing, intended use, value proposition, and competitive landscape.
β’ Learn and execute the established sales process while achieving sales targets.
β’ Oversee assigned CPA firm accounts and sustain a robust sales pipeline.
β’ Organize customers by segment and opportunity; investigate decision-makers and influencers.
β’ Create calling lists, conduct calls, and maintain information within Salesforce CRM.
β’ Generate new accounts and customers through prospecting and introductory calls.
β’ Schedule both in-person and virtual meetings; engage in industry meetings, trade shows, and sales gatherings.
β’ Deliver group presentations to foster interest in products and services.
β’ Expand existing customer business by understanding client needs and communicating the value of current solutions.
β’ Identify product gaps and issues, collaborate with Product Managers on functional specifications, and manage client expectations.
β’ Enhance market share by pinpointing target-account opportunities and engaging with management and executives.
β’ Organize and plan sales activities effectively.
β’ Collaborate with colleagues on sales strategies and marketing insights.
β’ Address account and channel conflicts in coordination with sales personnel and the Division Sales Manager.
β’ Formulate an Annual Business Plan, pipeline predictions, mid-year business updates, weekly reports, and quarterly forecasts.
β’ Engage in weekly communications with the Divisional Sales Manager.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Marketing, or a related discipline; OR, in the absence of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of experience in software/SaaS field sales.
β’ At least 5 years of B2B sales experience.
β’ Proven sales experience with on-premise/cloud software, SaaS business applications, or content information.
β’ Experience in developing and qualifying prospect lists.
β’ A strong track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and sales objectives.
β’ Demonstrated experience in developing and executing business plans and forecasts.
β’ Ability to convert networking contacts into legitimate business opportunities.
β’ Experience in delivering in-person presentations to prospective clients, articulating products and services in relation to clients' needs.
β’ Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce.com; SalesLogix).
β’ Proven ability to use a consultative sales approach.
β’ Capability to work with minimal oversight.
β’ Ability to navigate within a matrixed organization with various sales channels.
β’ Prior recognition as a President's/Club Achiever and recipient of multiple sales performance awards.
β’ Completion of formalized sales training (e.g., Challenger Sales, Miller Heiman).
β’ Flexibility to work a varied schedule.
β’ Exceptional facilitation skills.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 30% annually for client visits, company events, and trade shows.
