This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assist local territory initiatives to advocate for and sell ASSA ABLOY's electromechanical and electronic access control products and solutions.
• Act as the territory expert on applications, technology, installation, and deployment of EM and EAC products, systems, and solutions.
• Validate the sales, installation, and support capabilities of integrators through practical product training and continuous assessments.
• Provide training and support to channel partners, influencers, and internal staff.
• Oversee product test-bed deployments at certified integrator facilities.
• Organize trial installations at designated end-user locations.
• Assist with initial installations, ensuring live integration into EAC systems.
• Work collaboratively with the team to devise strategies to enhance territory sales.
• Create wiring diagrams and represent ASSA ABLOY during installation meetings.
• Conduct site surveys and audits in conjunction with integrators.
• Review implemented solutions for effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the team to secure the highest overall product content.
• Diagnose EM and EAC product-related issues, preferably in partnership with integrators.
• A college or university degree is preferred, particularly in fields such as architectural design/engineering, construction science/management, or a related area; alternatively, a minimum high school/GED diploma with relevant work experience is acceptable.
• A minimum of 2–3 years of field sales experience in the industry, specifically with EM/EAC/EMAC products and systems, is recommended.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.
• Experience with CRM tools for sales and activity reporting is required.
• Familiarity with industry-related software is advantageous.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for selling door opening solutions are crucial.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective follow-up habits are necessary.
• Capability to manage time and projects efficiently.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient in reading and understanding specifications and facility standards.
• Possess technical and sales aptitude relevant to the industry.
• Willingness to travel to meet customer needs.
• Capability to work from a home office or while traveling.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material.
• Must be eligible to work in the North Texas / Dallas, Texas area.
