This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage with customers both in person and virtually.
• Foster robust customer relationships, comprehend their needs, and recommend suitable solutions.
• Market companion animal products in unoccupied territories throughout the United States.
• Temporarily reside in unoccupied territories and relocate as business requirements dictate.
• Recognize the needs of veterinary clinics and corporate account customers.
• Promote the company’s Animal Health products.
• Support pull-through initiatives that align with customer strategies.
• Establish rapport with key customers and distribution partners.
• Deliver tailored product information to customers.
• Act as the primary contact for assigned customers and hold meetings with decision-makers.
• Formulate customer strategies, interaction plans, relationship objectives, solutions, and offerings to create sales opportunities and drive growth.
• Develop territory and account plans for key customers.
• Collaborate with National Account Managers, Corporate Account Teams, and Distribution Partners to enhance occupancy and boost sales growth.
• Share insights and best practices while working together with team members.
• Evaluate monthly sales outcomes and manage expenses within budgetary limits.
• Identify Animal Health programs and services while providing educational and training opportunities.
• Work with Marketing, Commercial Operations, and Professional Services Veterinarians to design and deliver customer offerings.
• Stay informed about products, industry trends, competitors, business models, influencers, and network structures.
• Relay customer, industry, product, and market trends internally.
• High school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including professional sales, distribution, marketing, military service, or veterinary/healthcare/scientific fields; OR a Bachelor’s Degree with 0–3 years of sales experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Flexibility and capacity to adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% nationally.
• Documented sales experience is preferred.
• Experience in selling animal health products and services through veterinary and/or shelter channels is preferred.
• Familiarity with biological/medical products and the capability to engage in discussions with medical professionals is preferred.
• Understanding of distribution partners and/or prior experience collaborating with distribution is preferred.
• Ability and willingness to relocate for future career advancement is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
