Field Sales Consultant, Interior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Promote and sell the Company's exterior and interior products and services to clients.

• Perform outside sales visits to customer residences and trade shows.

• Travel to clients' homes to conduct sales calls and evaluate customer requirements.

• Provide customized product recommendations and formulate tailored price quotes.

• Share warranty information and financing alternatives.

• Maintain and enhance profitability.

• Complete necessary sales contracts and documentation.

• Utilize industry-standard methods for taking measurements to ensure orders align with installation specifications.

• Seek out and acquire new customers within designated THD stores and at industry events.

• Visit assigned stores to nurture local relationships, educate store associates on HDIS offerings, and boost awareness of HDIS programs.

• Deliver professional sales presentations and adapt to evolving customer needs.

• Prepare for appointments, commute to and from meetings, and manage sales-related paperwork.

• Pursue referrals and strengthen relationships with store management and staff.

• Participate in sales and store team meetings.

• Report to the Sales Manager; no direct reports are involved.

• Overnight travel is typically required 5% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Minimum educational requirement: high school diploma and/or GED.

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience is required.

• Previous in-home or virtual sales experience is preferred.

• Experience in the home improvement industry is preferred.

• Background in successful lead generation is desirable.

• Proficient in computer and application skills, including email, iPad, apps, and various technologies.

• No prior leadership experience is necessary.

• Certifications: None required.

• Must be able to stand or walk continuously and regularly lift, handle, or carry materials or equipment weighing between 8–20 pounds.
