Field Sales Consultant, Exteriors

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Promote the Company's range of exterior and interior products and services to clients.

• Visit customer residences to perform sales consultations and evaluate their needs.

• Provide customized product suggestions and create personalized pricing proposals.

• Share warranty details and available financing options with customers.

• Finalize sales agreements and related documentation.

• Utilize industry-standard techniques to take measurements that align with installation requirements.

• Identify and attract new clients within designated THD stores and at industry events.

• Visit assigned retail locations, foster local relationships, educate store staff about HDIS offerings, and promote HDIS initiatives.

• Request referrals and build rapport with store management and personnel.

• Participate in sales and store team meetings to enhance sales strategies and gain knowledge about HDIS products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

• A high school diploma and/or GED is typically necessary to acquire the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience is required.

• Experience in in-home or virtual sales is preferred.

• Previous experience in the home improvement sector is preferred.

• A track record of successful lead generation is preferred.

• Proficiency in computer applications, including email, iPad, and various apps.

• No prior leadership experience is required.

• Must be able to stand or walk continuously and regularly lift, handle, or carry weights between 8–20 pounds.

• Overnight travel is typically required 5% of the time.
