Field Sales Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Promote and sell The Home Depot's range of interior and exterior products and services to customers.

• Conduct sales visits primarily at customer residences and during trade shows.

• Evaluate customer requirements and offer personalized product recommendations.

• Develop and negotiate custom price quotations.

• Present warranty details and financing options to customers.

• Maintain and enhance profitability.

• Complete sales contracts and necessary documentation.

• Take measurements using industry-standard techniques to fulfill installation specifications.

• Prospect for and acquire new customers within assigned stores and at industry events.

• Travel to designated stores and foster relationships with store management and associates.

• Educate store personnel on HDIS products and promote HDIS programs.

• Seek referrals and build customer pipelines.

• Attend sales and team meetings to refine sales techniques and expand product knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Minimum educational requirement: high school diploma and/or GED.

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience required.

• Previous experience in in-home or virtual sales is preferred.

• Experience in the home improvement industry is preferred.

• Prior experience with successful lead generation is preferred.

• Proficiency in computer applications and the use of various technologies (email, iPad, apps, etc.) is preferred.

• No prior leadership experience is necessary.

• Overnight travel is typically required 5% of the time.

• Must be able to stand or walk continuously and regularly lift, handle, or carry moderate-weight materials or equipment (8–20 pounds).

• Regular exposure to dust, fumes, or odors is expected.
