This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Promote CORE client products to both existing and prospective customers at the operator level within the designated territory.
• Assist in formulating sales plan objectives and achieve the assigned sales targets.
• Create and implement territory strategies that encompass priority segments, target accounts, client goals, sales objectives, and activities.
• Utilize CORE’s Seven Step sales methodology to prospect, identify needs, present solutions, manage objections, secure commitments, and encourage repeat purchases.
• Establish and sustain a portfolio of key operator accounts.
• Convert approved client and group-level initiatives into operator-level sales strategies.
• Maintain a qualified sales pipeline that includes defined stages, next steps, anticipated volume, risks, and target conversion timelines.
• Ensure timely and accurate records in Salesforce and leverage sales and market data to enhance targeting, call planning, forecasting, and business updates.
• Collaborate with Regional Managers, sales leadership, client teams, culinary resources, distributors, and other stakeholders.
• Prioritize accounts, organize travel plans, sequence opportunities, select approved sales resources, and resolve routine customer inquiries.
• Represent CORE and its clients at customer meetings, food shows, vendor fairs, trainings, and industry events.
• Share market insights and effective selling techniques, and assist with onboarding, collaborative sales efforts, and team initiatives.
• Manage time, travel, Everlance, samples, sales materials, expenses, and company resources effectively.
• Achieve or surpass assigned sales, case-volume, distribution, conversion, and client goals.
• Keep an updated territory plan, maintain a productive call schedule, manage a qualified pipeline, and provide reliable forecasts.
• A college degree or equivalent industry experience in foodservice sales, restaurant operations, hospitality, account management, or a related field.
• A minimum of two years of experience in independently managing a sales territory, account portfolio, or a similar business portfolio is preferred.
• Proven track record of success in full-cycle selling, needs-based presentations, objection handling, customer commitments, and quantifiable sales outcomes.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Teams, and designated sales and reporting tools.
• Capability to interpret sales reports, prioritize opportunities, manage a sales pipeline, and communicate a data-driven forecast.
• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, planning, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly evaluate account conditions, pinpoint opportunities, and cultivate trusted customer relationships.
• Capacity to actively engage in customer discussions, contribute to sales meetings, and comprehend information presented in individual and group settings.
• Experience in foodservice sales or relevant sales experience with client programs, distributors, buying groups, GPOs, or contract-managed accounts.
• A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Ability to use Everlance and submit mileage and expenses by specified deadlines.
• Willingness to drive extensively within the assigned territory, covering up to 250 miles per day.
• Availability for overnight travel for shows.
• Capability to stand and remain active for prolonged periods, up to four-hour increments, and work 8–10+ hours in the field or at a food show.
• Ability to walk moderate distances and navigate through restaurants, kitchens, storage areas, loading zones, stairs, and uneven surfaces.
• Capacity to lift, carry, transport, set up, and dismantle product samples, equipment, client booths, and sales materials, typically weighing up to 30–40 pounds.
• Ability to frequently bend, kneel, crouch, reach (including overhead), and maneuver within tight or active environments.
• Ability to use hands and arms to handle products, prepare samples, operate tools or equipment, drive, and present.
• Capability to work in foodservice environments with exposure to heat, cold, wet or slippery floors, and confined or high-traffic areas.
• Required to have close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
