This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop and implement a territory strategy that encompasses priority segments, target accounts, client objectives, sales targets, and activities.
• Identify prospects, assess needs, present solutions, handle objections, secure commitments, and encourage repeat purchases utilizing CORE’s Seven Step sales methodology.
• Establish and sustain a portfolio of key operator accounts.
• Recognize decision makers, assess business needs, analyze competitive landscapes, evaluate account potential, and outline next steps.
• Convert approved client and group-level initiatives into operator-level sales strategies.
• Articulate product features, advantages, applications, and operational or financial value within the framework of approved claims and program guidelines.
• Maintain a qualified sales pipeline that includes stages, next steps, anticipated volume, risks, and target conversion timelines.
• Implement corrective measures when performance falls short of objectives.
• Keep accurate Salesforce records and leverage sales and market data to enhance targeting, call planning, forecasting, and business updates.
• Collaborate with Regional Managers, sales leadership, client teams, culinary resources, distributors, and other stakeholders.
• Prioritize accounts, organize travel, sequence opportunities, select authorized selling resources, and resolve routine customer issues.
• Represent CORE and its clients at customer meetings, food shows, vendor fairs, training sessions, and industry events.
• Share market intelligence and effective selling strategies, while supporting onboarding, joint sales efforts, and team initiatives.
• Manage time, travel, Everlance, samples, sales materials, expenses, and company resources efficiently.
• Achieve or surpass assigned sales, case volume, distribution, conversion, and client objectives.
• Maintain an updated territory plan, productive call schedule, qualified pipeline, and dependable forecast.
• Exhibit progress from prospecting to trial, conversion, and repeat purchases.
• Communicate opportunities, risks, and support requirements while ensuring timely and accurate Salesforce record-keeping.
• A college degree or equivalent experience in foodservice sales, restaurant operations, hospitality, account management, or a similar field.
• At least two years of experience in independently managing a sales territory, account portfolio, or a comparable book of business is preferred.
• Proven success in full-cycle sales, needs-based presentations, objection handling, securing customer commitments, and achieving measurable sales outcomes.
• Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Teams, and relevant sales and reporting tools.
• Ability to analyze sales reports, prioritize opportunities, manage a pipeline, and communicate a fact-based forecast effectively.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, planning, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly evaluate account conditions, identify opportunities, and build trusted relationships with customers.
• Capacity to actively engage in customer discussions, participate in sales meetings, and understand information presented in both individual and group settings, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Experience in foodservice sales or relevant sales experience with client programs, distributors, buying groups, GPOs, or contract-managed accounts.
• A valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Ability to utilize the Everlance application and submit mileage and expenses within established deadlines.
• Capability to drive extensively, travel overnight, remain active for extended periods, walk moderate distances, navigate varied surfaces, lift and carry up to 30–40 pounds, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, handle products and equipment, and maintain necessary visual perception.
