This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
β’ Act as the primary field lead for education, assistance, and problem resolution related to patient access to J&J Oncology therapies.
β’ Allocate up to 50% of your time on-site with healthcare providers to assess educational needs and foster collaboration among stakeholders.
β’ Provide education to healthcare providers regarding reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and payer coding requirements.
β’ Work in conjunction with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and other field support teams.
β’ Tackle urgent patient access and affordability issues effectively.
β’ Conduct field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and innovative problem-solving in alignment with FRM Rules of Engagement.
β’ Develop trust-based relationships with customers throughout assigned Oncology accounts.
β’ Oversee territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
β’ Stay informed about market dynamics, coverage, and coding requirements.
β’ Enhance knowledge of hub and specialty distribution channels to better support practices and patients.
β’ Collaborate with internal J&J departments, including marketing, sales, medical science, SCG, IBG, HCC, and PECS.
β’ Act as a subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions across Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care, and commercial payer plans.
β’ Conduct business in adherence to ethical, legal, and compliance standards, completing all required training.
β’ Monitor and anticipate changes in product coverage, access, marketplace conditions, and stakeholder practices.
β’ Tailor resources and messaging for healthcare providers and staff based on the evolving healthcare ecosystem.
β’ Bachelorβs degree (preferably in healthcare or business/public administration).
β’ At least 5 years of pertinent professional experience.
β’ Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement, particularly in provider office settings, fostering strong customer relationships.
β’ Proven expertise in pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefits, coding, and billing.
β’ Experience in reimbursement or relevant managed care, including revenue cycle management, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals processes.
β’ Strong ability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence across a matrix organization.
β’ Adept problem-solving skills to navigate complex access scenarios and identify effective solutions efficiently.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong follow-through.
β’ Experience with patient support HUB services.
β’ Valid US driverβs license and a driving record that meets company standards.
β’ Willingness to maintain up to 50% travel consistently.
β’ Permanent residence within the specified territory.
β’ Preferred: Experience in oncology disease state.
β’ Preferred: Advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding.
β’ Strong market access and business acumen.
β’ Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives impacting pharmaceutical and biotechnology product reimbursement.
β’ Preferred: Technical understanding of payer policies, including coding, coverage, and payment.
β’ Preferred: Proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
β’ Preferred: Commitment to learning about emerging technologies such as AI.
