This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Act as the main field-based point of contact for education, assistance, and issue resolution related to patient access for J&J Oncology therapies.
• Allocate up to 50% of your time on-site with healthcare providers to evaluate their educational requirements.
• Promote collaboration among healthcare providers, office personnel, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide education to HCPs on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and payer coding requirements.
• Work in partnership with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and other field support teams.
• Swiftly address critical issues concerning patient access and affordability.
• Offer field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and innovative problem-solving in accordance with FRM Rules of Engagement.
• Establish trust-based relationships with clients across assigned Oncology accounts.
• Oversee territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
• Stay informed about market dynamics, coverage, and coding requirements.
• Enhance knowledge of hub and specialty distribution channels to better support practices and patients.
• Collaborate with the Marketing, Sales, Medical Science, SCG, IBG, HCC, and PECS departments.
• Act as a subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions across Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care, Commercial, and other payer categories.
• Complete necessary training and conduct business in compliance with ethical, legal, and compliance standards.
• Monitor product coverage, access conditions, market changes, and stakeholder practices.
• Tailor resources and messaging for HCPs and their staff.
• Bachelor’s degree (ideally in healthcare or business/public administration).
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement within a provider office setting, fostering strong customer relationships.
• Proven expertise in both pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefits, coding, and billing.
• Background in reimbursement or managed care, including revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals processes.
• Capability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence within a matrix organization.
• Problem-solving skills to effectively navigate challenging access scenarios and identify timely solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with efficient follow-through.
• Experience with patient support HUB services.
• Valid US driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Willingness to maintain up to 50% travel consistently.
• Permanent residence in the specified territory.
• Preferably, experience in the oncology disease state.
• Advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding are preferred.
• Strong market access and business acumen are preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives impacting pharmaceutical and biotechnology reimbursement is preferred.
• Technical understanding of payer policies, including coding, coverage, and payment is preferred.
• Proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred.
• Commitment to learning and adapting to emerging technologies, such as AI, is preferred.
