This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
⢠Serve as an alternative in-office resource for healthcare provider (HCP) inquiries related to patient access.
⢠Directly contact HCP offices within the designated geographic area.
⢠Inform HCPs about patient support programs, access and reimbursement tools, and related services.
⢠Provide education on product-specific acquisition and access options, including specialty pharmacy networks and specialty distribution.
⢠Share information on resources available to resolve access challenges.
⢠Offer local insights on national and regional payer policies, payer challenges, coding updates, and claims submission processes.
⢠Collaborate with AbbVieās Access and Reimbursement support center regarding prescription status and program eligibility.
⢠Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and MHC account management teams.
⢠Build and sustain relationships with providers within the assigned territory.
⢠Stay updated on managed care, reimbursement, and policy developments.
⢠Minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in Managed Health Care, Payer Account Management, or Access and Reimbursement.
⢠Prior experience in Immunology is advantageous.
⢠A bachelor's degree is mandatory.
⢠In-depth understanding of technical payer policy processes, systems, and requirements related to coverage, coding, and payment for specialty medications.
⢠Knowledge of the rules, regulations, and risks linked to reimbursement support services.
⢠Capability to convey technical coding and billing requirements at both national and regional levels across all care settings.
⢠Extensive knowledge of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D, along with the associated reimbursement dynamics.
⢠Familiarity with drug acquisition and dispensing, including specialty pharmacies, specialty distributors, and white-bagging practices.
⢠Insight into access and reimbursement support service centers and compliant interaction protocols.
⢠Strong territory and account management abilities.
⢠Possession of a valid driver's license and capability to operate a personal or company vehicle.
⢠Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving criteria.
⢠Must fulfill applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible for credentials.
