Field Reimbursement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Act as the field subject matter expert for product procurement, buy & bill processes, billing and coding, financial assistance, claims and adjudication, patient support, access, payer medical policy, prior authorization, specialty pharmacy, and infusion center procedures related to T1D.

• Facilitate product reimbursement by ensuring compliance with prior authorization policy requirements.

• Contribute to the development and execution of the national strategy by enhancing approval and reimbursement confidence among customers.

• Support efforts to enhance patient access.

• Serve as the primary contact for the Patient Support Services Hub.

• Engage in cross-functional communication and collaboration to lead patient pull-through initiatives.

• Design and implement regional business plans to ensure appropriate access to Sanofi products.

• Educate office staff regarding payer policy requirements and billing codes.

• Address inquiries related to contracting, billing and coding, access, procurement, and other related areas.

• Build effective relationships with both internal and external customer groups.

• Conduct HIPAA-compliant visits to healthcare provider offices to facilitate patient pull-through and resolve escalated issues.

• Aim to reduce cycle time and enhance conversion rates for patients prescribed Sanofi products.

⛳️ Requirements

• A BA/BS Degree is required, preferably in life sciences or business.

• A minimum of 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.

• Willingness to travel to meetings, training sessions, and programs as needed; additional travel may be required within the assigned region.

• Proven track record of success in cross-functional teamwork and experience working in a matrixed environment.

• Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and communication abilities.

• Strong knowledge and experience in supporting products within provider offices and healthcare facilities.

• Extensive experience and understanding of the payer landscape and its effects on patient access.

• Adherence to all applicable Sanofi-Genzyme policies, procedures, as well as regulatory and legal requirements.

• A valid driver's license is required.

• Approximately 50% travel may be necessary, depending on the geographic area.

• Preferred qualifications include 4+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech business relations.

• Preferred: Experience with T1D patients or autoimmune disorders.

• Preferred: Background in physician reimbursement.

• Preferred: Familiarity with complex medical payer policy requirements and multiple prior authorization processes.

• Preferred: Experience in infusion therapy.

• Preferred: Background in home care coordination.

• Preferred: Knowledge of buy & bill, white bag, and specialty pharmacy processes.

• Preferred: Experience in market access.

• Preferred: Leadership experience.

• Preferred: Capability to manage relationships, administrative tasks, and projects remotely.
