This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Spearhead regional sales strategy, growth, and results across the K-12 sector in the Southeast territory.
• Utilize data-driven approaches to formulate regional strategies that foster new business development while nurturing and expanding current partnerships.
• Observe and analyze state and local educational policy trends to guide sales strategies and positioning.
• Establish performance objectives and KPIs; provide coaching, mentoring, and evaluation for team members.
• Assess account development and service priorities to enhance productivity, optimize resource allocation, and maximize customer impact.
• Accompany sales representatives on visits to engage with district and school leaders, fostering strong customer relationships.
• Support the complete sales process from prospecting and presentations to pricing, RFX responses, and contract negotiations.
• Direct strategic account planning and uphold a leadership presence in key district relationships.
• Collaborate with Field Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams on regional initiatives and return on investment (ROI).
• Ensure the health of the sales pipeline and forecast accuracy using Salesforce and analytical tools.
• Evaluate sales trends, identify opportunities, and mentor team members for continuous improvement.
• Motivate and align the team with Lexia’s mission, culture, values, and strategic objectives.
• Advocate for a customer-centric approach and promote outstanding customer experiences.
• Build and empower a high-performing sales team that delivers innovative solutions.
• Encourage ongoing learning, market expertise, adaptability, and professional development.
• Facilitate open communication and collaboration across departments.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of successful sales experience in K-12 education, preferably with technology and curriculum (reading) solutions.
• Proven track record as a collaborative sales leader with experience managing high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire, coach, and develop sales professionals through feedback, mentorship, and strategic direction.
• Familiarity with Lexia’s product offerings is highly desirable.
• Comprehensive understanding of regional K–12 education dynamics; prior experience as an educator or administrator is advantageous.
• Exceptional capability to identify client needs, design compelling solutions, and close complex sales opportunities.
• Proficient in Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, video conferencing platforms, and other productivity tools.
• Outstanding analytical, written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a proven history of delivering impactful proposals and executive-level communications.
• Demonstrated success in nurturing long-term customer relationships and collaborating with internal stakeholders to meet revenue objectives.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Reliable internet connection via cable or fiber-optic broadband service with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload for remote work.
• Capability to engage in video-based interviews and ongoing virtual meetings with the camera on.
• Remote-first work environment with flexible, results-oriented work arrangements.
