This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Conduct both virtual and in-person investigations at the homes of policyholders.

• Evaluate property damage, establish liability, assess the extent of loss, and negotiate just settlements.

• Utilize claims management software, a company vehicle, and a laptop to assess damage and prepare estimates in a paperless setting.

• Identify and report potential subrogation opportunities.

• Notify relevant state and industry agencies about incidents of theft, fraud, or arson.

• Execute duties autonomously, significantly influencing management outcomes.

• Represent the company in public engagements.

• Interact with policyholders, claimants, agents, witnesses, contractors, law enforcement, fraud and arson investigators, attorneys, medical professionals, and other relevant parties.

• Negotiate claims settlements with policyholders, employing strong customer service skills.

• Advocate for safety and adhere to company safety and ergonomic standards.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or its equivalent is mandatory.

• Exceptional customer service experience is required, ideally in a retail setting.

• Experience in construction or insurance is highly preferred.

• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.

• Proficient in computer applications: MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Comfortable using smartphones and various applications.

• Demonstrates a willingness to learn about insurance policies and property damage.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and be bondable.

• Final candidates will undergo a Motor Vehicle Record background check.

• Must be willing and able to climb ladders and work on rooftops multiple times daily.

• Comfortable working in restricted spaces such as attics and crawlspaces.

• Must achieve a minimum passing score on all claims training examinations.

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Proficient in English for speaking, reading, writing, and data entry tasks.

• Must currently reside in the Fort Worth, Arlington, or Euless, Texas area.

• Willing to commit to 1–3 catastrophe deployments annually.

• Catastrophe team members may need to travel away from home for typically 2-3 weeks.
