This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Drive brand recognition, consumer engagement, and market share expansion within the designated market.
• Recruit, train, support, and mentor Brand Ambassadors.
• Supervise Brand Ambassador activations to promote product trials, education, and sales.
• Collaborate with the Field Marketing Manager to support local market strategies.
• Implement sampling initiatives, retail activations, and pop-up events.
• Ensure product displays, merchandising, and educational materials adhere to brand standards.
• Identify and lead local events that enhance brand visibility and market presence.
• Represent the brand and foster connections with consumers.
• Cultivate relationships with retail partners to enhance distribution, visibility, and in-store execution.
• Improve shelf presence, point-of-sale materials, and merchandising.
• Partner with Sales on key accounts and sell-through programs.
• Monitor local market trends and competitor activities.
• Support collegiate sampling initiatives and campus ambassadors.
• Plan logistics for events, including product, assets, staffing, and performance objectives.
• Oversee inventory management, storage, marketing assets, equipment, cold storage, and company vehicles.
• Ensure appropriate vehicle usage, maintenance, safety training, and compliance.
• Track, analyze, and report on activation performance, sales impact, consumer feedback, and insights.
• Develop post-event recaps that include actionable insights.
• Collect and synthesize consumer and market insights.
• Manage budgets, expenses, receipts, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and cross-functional teams.
• Support ongoing program improvements and undertake other assigned duties.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field (preferred).
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance; must be able to operate a motor vehicle.
• Willingness to travel locally 40-60% of the time, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to lift 50lbs to assist with event setup.
• Proven experience in planning and executing events, retail activations, and local marketing campaigns, including logistics management and on-site execution.
• Experience in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding part-time or full-time team members (e.g., brand ambassadors), with the capability to support training and performance standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with event tracking, reporting, or CRM tools is advantageous.
• Prior experience in the CPG food and/or beverage sector is strongly preferred, with a solid understanding of retail environments and consumer interaction.
• Strong networking and community-building abilities.
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, field-based environment with minimal supervision.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Creative thinker capable of developing engaging activations, solving problems independently, and adapting swiftly.
• Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism, adaptability, and sound judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute across various initiatives simultaneously.
• Passion for kombucha and an interest in raw, organic, and functional foods.
