This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Assist in developing a quality pipeline and enhancing brand visibility within the Federal sector through various field and channel marketing initiatives, events, and campaigns.
• Create pipeline generation programs tailored for federal civilian and/or Department of War (DoW) accounts.
• Design and implement integrated programs for the Federal market, which include curated content, digital marketing, webinars, Cyera events, sponsorships of third-party events, partner alignment activities, direct mail, and teleprospecting efforts.
• Work closely with federal sales teams to optimize pipeline coverage, expedite processes, and ensure proper territory alignment.
• Assist in planning territory strategies and aligning sales efforts within the designated region.
• Collaborate with the business development team for outreach initiatives and lead follow-up activities.
• Provide education and resources to the federal sales team regarding new and upcoming marketing initiatives.
• Evaluate and analyze the performance of field marketing activities against established target plans.
• Oversee and manage the federal field marketing budget and expenditures.
• Collaborate with the channel team and government-focused distributors and resellers, including Carahsoft and Immix (Arrow), to devise co-marketing strategies and joint pipeline generation initiatives.
• Enhance waterfall metrics, such as reach, conversion rates, velocity, value, and return on investment.
• Develop and implement effective messaging tailored for federal accounts.
• Handle event logistics and oversee onsite execution of events.
• Create innovative and budget-friendly event formats like lunch-and-learns, agency briefings, and small-group roundtables that comply with federal ethics and gift-limit regulations.
• Design and present webinar and virtual briefing content specifically aimed at federal civilian and DoW stakeholders.
• At least seven (7) years of experience in field marketing, with three (3) to five (5) years specifically in the federal sector (civilian and DoW).
• Preference for candidates based in or near the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
• Extensive knowledge of demand generation and best marketing practices.
• Results-driven individual with a strong passion for performance measurement and analytics.
• Proven success in delivering engagement programs that cultivate highly satisfied customers who continue to renew and expand their business.
• Track record of executing programs and events that generate demand, accelerate deals, provide returns, and ensure exceptional experiences for attendees.
• Experience in content creation across various messaging platforms, including email, direct mail, digital ads, SDR scripts, and marketing materials.
• Familiarity with developing regional and channel plans to support account-based marketing strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with both sales and marketing teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Ability to clearly communicate a market-specific value proposition and customize it to meet program objectives.
• Strong understanding of content creation and the importance of tailored messaging.
• Experience in segmentation analysis, budget management, and developing business cases.
• Comprehension of B2B sales cycles, demand creation, pipeline contribution, and sales opportunity acceleration.
• Excellent knowledge of managing marketing performance metrics and ROI.
• Proficient in marketing to B2B buyers through various channels including white papers, case studies, webcasts, digital marketing, email campaigns, call-downs, and direct mail.
• General understanding of federal government procurement processes, contract vehicles, and buyer behavior.
• Familiarity with civilian and Department of War (DoW) personas and their mission priorities.
• Knowledge of government fiscal-year budget cycles.
• Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, and/or predictive analytics tools is preferred.
• Familiarity with government-focused distributors and resellers such as Carahsoft and Immix (Arrow).
• Experience in planning and executing webinars and virtual briefings for federal audiences.
• Integrated marketing content creation and implementation experience is essential.
• Ability to understand the company and product pitch and effectively execute it in the field.
• Strong communication skills to convey information to both internal and external audiences.
• Proficient in writing and delivering marketing-quality emails, presentations, and collateral materials.
• Exceptional event planning capabilities, including knowledge of event contracts and BEO specifics.
• Experience in designing cost-effective events that comply with federal ethics and gift-limit guidelines.
• Competence in recruitment planning for events and ensuring excellence in execution.
• A flexible, “can-do” attitude is essential.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve regional marketing objectives.
