This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +5 more states.
• Take ownership of the complete execution of marketing initiatives encompassing events, sponsorships, and local campaigns.
• Convert strategic guidance from leadership into actionable plans and deliverables.
• Lead the planning and on-the-ground execution of events, ensuring operational excellence and brand consistency.
• Manage event logistics, including vendors, materials, run-of-show, and on-site coordination.
• Assist in identifying and evaluating sponsorships and community partnerships that align with market strategy.
• Direct the execution of large-scale activations aimed at enhancing brand awareness and local engagement.
• Oversee the event portfolio, manage the calendar, and prioritize execution across various markets.
• Ensure effective integration of promotional channels, including social media, digital platforms, and media support.
• Coordinate the development and production of marketing assets and collateral in collaboration with internal teams and external agencies.
• Facilitate the execution of campaigns across direct sales and local marketing channels.
• Manage marketing calendars to ensure alignment among initiatives and stakeholders.
• Create and distribute sales collateral and internal communications to support field teams.
• Cultivate relationships with external vendors, agencies, and event partners.
• Act as a key liaison between marketing, sales, and local leadership to ensure alignment and readiness for execution.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to deliver cohesive marketing programs.
• Directly manage and develop a team of field marketing specialists.
• Provide clear direction, prioritization, and oversight to guarantee high-quality execution across all initiatives.
• Mentor team members on event execution, stakeholder management, and operational excellence.
• Foster accountability, performance management, and professional growth within the team.
• Track and manage event and marketing budgets, including vendor payments and cost control.
• Monitor execution effectiveness and offer feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Support the reporting and performance tracking of marketing initiatives.
• Proactively support, promote, and advance all aspects of Astound’s Inclusion and Belonging efforts.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in field marketing, local marketing, event marketing, sponsorships, community engagement, or related marketing activation roles.
• At least 2 years of experience in people leadership, including coaching, prioritizing work, developing team members, and managing performance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead field-level execution across multiple markets, events, campaigns, or community partnerships.
• Proficient in managing relationships with vendors, agencies, sponsorships, or event partners, including timelines, deliverables, and budget tracking.
• Strong collaborative skills, working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and local leadership to align priorities and ensure effective market activation.
• Excellent people leadership skills with the capability to coach, develop, and hold team members accountable for quality execution.
• Ability to translate marketing strategy into clear field plans, priorities, timelines, and actionable deliverables.
• Comprehensive understanding of field marketing, event execution, sponsorship activation, local campaigns, and community engagement.
• Capacity to manage multiple events, campaigns, vendors, and stakeholder requests in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, including effective calendar management, logistics planning, resource coordination, and follow-through.
• Ability to build effective relationships with sales, marketing, operations, local leaders, vendors, agencies, and community partners.
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, resolve execution issues, and appropriately escalate risks.
• Comfortable utilizing data, performance results, and stakeholder feedback to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Strong budget awareness, including the ability to track expenditures, manage vendor costs, and support responsible use of marketing resources.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear direction, updates, and recommendations to leaders and field teams.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to brand consistency, operational excellence, and customer-focused execution.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams; experience with project management or marketing planning tools is preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally or regionally as necessary to support events, field activations, and market engagement.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience in field marketing, events, or people leadership.
