This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, implement, and manage a comprehensive regional go-to-market strategy.
• Assist the sales team in reaching both short-term and long-term revenue goals and territory objectives.
• Lead the development of regional campaign plans, strategic and tactical adoption strategies, multi-channel promotional initiatives, territory-specific messaging and positioning, collateral, events, conferences, and sponsorships.
• Work closely with Sales Leadership to gain and maintain a thorough understanding of regional needs, gaps, challenges, and opportunities.
• Organize and deliver regional sales events and meetings.
• Foster relationships with sales and marketing leaders, Account Executives, and Per Diems throughout the region.
• Oversee marketing strategy and initiatives for current and forthcoming state adoptions, including market research, messaging, collateral, pre-work, state submissions, sampling, district evaluations, piloting, and sales efforts.
• Provide field insights to Product Marketing to guide national messaging and marketing initiatives.
• Manage responses to district questionnaires and product evaluations.
• Direct regional marketing efforts that support prospecting, lead generation, pipeline development, and opportunity progression.
• Keep track of regional adoptions, RFPs, policy adjustments, requirements, and developments.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in sales within the education publishing sector.
• More than 5 years of professional experience in marketing within the education publishing sector.
• At least 5 years of experience and proven success in managing complex projects.
• Background in developing and executing campaigns that drive sales.
• Proficiency in prospecting, lead generation, pipeline development, and closing opportunities.
• Experience in writing RFPs and/or rubric responses.
• Skilled in writing marketing copy, influencing design, managing print production, coordinating print and digital marketing activities, and organizing events.
• Experience collaborating with Product Development, Product Management, and Marketing Services teams.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, Marketing Automation Platforms such as HubSpot and Pardot, WordPress, Adobe, Zoom, and Slack.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing teams.
• Capacity to travel 15–20% of the time.
