Field Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Engage directly with clients to facilitate the onboarding and migration of intricate infrastructure to Unikraft Cloud

• Diagnose, enhance, and guarantee the performance and dependability of client deployments

• Leverage Docker, Dockerfiles, and Linux-based systems to support and scale infrastructure

• Design and uphold CI/CD pipelines for deployment and integration

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor for clients

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate customer feedback into the development roadmap

• Operate across various environments and programming languages throughout the customer adoption lifecycle

• Contribute to shaping the user experience, core infrastructure, product direction, and customer success

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with containers, Docker, Dockerfiles, Linux, and CI/CD design

• Exceptional debugging and optimization capabilities

• Strong customer-oriented mindset

• Comfortable collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams

• Background in computer science or a related field

• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to various runtimes, build systems, and environments, including Rust, Node, Go, Python, and C++

• Familiarity with OCI standards, QEMU/KVM, Firecracker, and Cloud-Hypervisor is advantageous

• Experience in direct customer-facing roles is a plus
