Field Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Support the Superintendent with daily responsibilities on the job site.

• Participate in job site meetings.

• Gain practical experience in general construction and carpentry.

• Engage in safety walks and discussions.

• Adhere to the company's safety regulations while on-site.

• Aid in communication among subcontractors to manage labor, materials, equipment, and inspections.

• Assist with documentation, including daily job reports that track job progress, onsite subcontractors, safety issues, employee hours, per diem, training, and purchases.

• Provide weekly job site progress photographs.

• Submit daily receipts.

• Assist in project close-out and the prompt completion of punch lists.

• Take part in handoff and post-project review meetings at headquarters.

• Eagerness to learn.

• A positive mindset.

• Willingness to travel.

• OSHA 30 certification, or the ability to obtain it within the first 90 days.

• Basic understanding of all construction divisions.

• Nationwide travel is expected; projects in your local area are not guaranteed.

• Capacity to sit, stand, kneel, twist, reach, and walk for extended periods.

• Capability to manually dig, drag, pull, and push materials and objects at the job site.

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to push and pull items weighing up to 100 lbs.
