Field Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Act as the representative for Tensar Engineered Solutions at designated job sites during installation, ensuring adherence to design specifications.

• Participate in pre-construction and progress meetings alongside all project stakeholders.

• Conduct post-construction interviews with key stakeholders to verify that original design objectives are achieved and functioning as intended.

• Track project progress, prepare and submit daily reports, and gather feedback to relay to the Area Engineer and Regional Sales Manager.

• Perform project site evaluations utilizing dynamic cone penetrometer (DCP) and/or alternative methods to gather data for Tensar solutions.

• Provide technical assistance to the sales team, including the use of design software, report writing, and preparation of submittals, in collaboration with the Area Engineer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred background in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, Project Engineering, or Field Technician roles.

• Excellent communication and technical presentation abilities.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven capacity to foster effective relationships throughout the organization and collaborate with individuals at all levels.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to focus, prioritize, and align skills with tasks.

• Willingness to travel regionally 25% - 50% of the time.

• Capable of preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.

• A Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in Construction Management will be considered.

• Certification as Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred.
