This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Acquire a comprehensive technical knowledge of DEWALT fastening products, including their construction applications, designs, building codes, performance attributes, and relevant code requirements.
• Build connections with prominent specifying engineering firms within the designated territory.
• Persuade designers, architects, and engineers to choose DEWALT fasteners through site visits, educational outreach, and technical discussions.
• Conduct technical presentations and training sessions tailored for design professionals.
• Collaborate with the local sales team to enhance specification and conversion efforts.
• Provide on-site technical assistance and actively participate in job site visits.
• Aid clients with proprietary technical anchor design software.
• Relay customer feedback to inform future product development initiatives.
• Offer technical support to local sales efforts.
• Ensure that contractor submittals receive approval from architects and engineers.
• Keep abreast of advancements in Building Information Modeling, Integrated Project Delivery, and construction software technologies.
• Create and maintain client records within the CRM system.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent credentials.
• At least 2 years of experience in design engineering, technical support, or a technical sales position.
• E.I.T / FE certification is required.
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) license is preferred.
• Experience in the construction industry or job site settings is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% is required.
• Ability to develop a thorough technical understanding of DEWALT fastening products, construction applications, building codes, and construction technologies.
