Field Engineer, Anchors & Fasteners

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Acquire a deep technical knowledge of DEWALT fastening products, including their construction applications, designs, and adherence to building codes.

• Build relationships with major specifying engineering firms within the designated region.

• Persuade designers, architects, and engineers to select fasteners through direct visits, educational initiatives, and technical discussions.

• Conduct technical presentations and training sessions aimed at design professionals.

• Assist the sales team by engaging in specification and conversion efforts.

• Offer technical support on job sites and participate in site visits.

• Aid clients in utilizing proprietary technical anchor design software.

• Relay customer insights to inform future product development.

• Provide technical support to bolster local sales initiatives.

• Ensure that contractor submittals receive approval from architects and engineers.

• Stay updated on advancements in construction technology and trends, such as BIM, Integrated Project Delivery, and construction software.

• Create and manage client records using the CRM tool.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent credentials.

• At least 2 years of experience in design engineering, technical support, or a technical sales position.

• E.I.T / FE certification is required.

• Professional Engineering (P.E.) license is preferred.

• Experience in the construction industry or job site settings is advantageous.

• A valid driver’s license is necessary.

• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time is required.
