This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee, manage, mentor, coach, train, and assess field-based HEOR Liaisons
• Maintain a personal roster of key U.S. payer accounts and engage in scientific discussions regarding commercialized products and pipeline assets
• Collaborate with market access stakeholders to support account goals, establish and monitor KPIs, identify gaps, and modify field activities
• Represent the organization at Medicaid meetings and clinical and managed care conferences
• Attend Market Access account director meetings to exemplify best-in-class field engagement
• Act as an internal resource and escalation point on therapeutic landscapes, real-world evidence, and clinical/HEOR data
• Lead the collection, synthesis, and reporting of U.S. payer insights
• Develop strategic and tactical HEOR plans for both pipeline and commercialized products
• Direct payer value propositions, HCEI materials, and State Medicaid testimonies
• Collaborate with Medical Information on dossiers and HEOR data integration
• Identify training and resource needs for the team and coordinate development plans
• Contribute to strategic planning and Global Medical Affairs initiatives
• Ensure that field work aligns with the company's mission, goals, strategies, and behaviors
• Accurately and compliantly address unsolicited medical and HEOR inquiries
• Monitor and summarize competitor HEOR strategies, value evidence, and RWE outputs
• Conduct interviews, select, and hire HEOR Liaison candidates
• Oversee team performance management alongside HEOR leadership
• Master’s Degree in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, epidemiology, health services research, or a related field with over 10 years of professional experience in HEOR, medical affairs, managed markets, health plan, or pharmacy benefit management; or a PharmD, PhD, or MD with more than 7 years of professional experience in these areas
• Over 3 years of prior field-based HEOR experience, demonstrating excellence and leadership
• Strong grasp of study design, methodology, data analysis, and interpretation of HEOR and clinical data
• Leadership and influencing capabilities, including the ability to guide senior stakeholders, mentor, coach, motivate others, lead projects, think strategically, and manage high performance
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and collaboration skills with U.S. payers and internal stakeholders
• Proficient analytical skills for interpreting complex HEOR and clinical data
• Expertise in relationship building and maintenance
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Valid in-state driver’s license
• Willingness to travel up to 60%, both domestically and internationally
• Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), PhD, or MD
• Preferred: Over 2 years of experience in people leadership or management
• Preferred: More than 2 years of direct interaction with U.S. payer or health system decision-makers and/or experience supporting economic modeling or RWE initiatives
• Familiarity with U.S. payer decision-making processes and Veeva or similar CRM/reporting systems
