This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee the complete deployment projects from the initial planning stages to the go-live phase.
• Analyze building plans, floor plans, and construction drawings to ascertain the optimal placement of devices and gateways.
• Collaborate with third-party installers, low-voltage contractors, general contractors, client IT teams, and facility teams.
• Ensure all site prerequisites are met prior to the commencement of installation.
• Monitor device counts, installation progress, logistics, dependencies, and key project milestones.
• Offer technical guidance to contractors and address deployment obstacles.
• Diagnose networking challenges, including IP addressing, DHCP/DNS, VLANs, firewall configurations, port access, and cabling issues.
• Work with customer network administrators to address connectivity and access needs.
• Confirm device installation, connectivity, configuration, and data reporting accuracy.
• Identify and rectify issues that may hinder deployment or the go-live process.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, status reports, and deployment records.
• Engage with internal technical teams and customer-facing teams when escalations arise.
• Ensure that deployed devices consistently provide accurate data to the cloud or BMS.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of deployment processes and field documentation.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in deploying physical technology within occupied commercial buildings, including IoT, low-voltage systems, security, AV, telecom, or building technologies.
• Strong capability to read and interpret floor plans and construction drawings effectively.
• Solid field-level networking expertise, encompassing IP addressing, DHCP/DNS, VLANs, firewall rules, and network connectivity.
• Proven experience in coordinating third-party contractors, installers, or field service teams.
• Exceptional project coordination and execution abilities.
• Proficient in troubleshooting technical issues remotely and guiding others through on-site troubleshooting procedures.
• Comfortable liaising with contractors, IT teams, facilities teams, and customers.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Must currently reside in the Philippines and have legal authorization to work there.
• Nice-to-have: experience with BMS/HVAC controls or building automation systems.
• Nice-to-have: background in deploying IoT or connected building technologies.
• Nice-to-have: familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, or similar building protocols.
• Nice-to-have: experience with large-scale building deployments.
• Nice-to-have: experience collaborating with general contractors or low-voltage contractors.
• Nice-to-have: knowledge of cloud-connected hardware or sensor deployments.
• Nice-to-have: experience in commercial building technology or smart-building initiatives.
