This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Create rolling three-month forecasts utilizing statistical models and FAP inputs for over 150 SKUs at the SKU-Depot level for the Branch Traditional Trade Channel.
• Collaborate, challenge, and influence building-block inputs from sales, marketing, and various partners.
• Assess the disaggregated short-term demand plan, focusing on the SKU/location mix and weekly pacing.
• Deliver finalized detailed demand plans by SKU to supply planners and modify them based on feedback.
• Contribute to the demand management cycle within the integrated business planning (IBP) process and strategic discussions.
• Coordinate with commercial and operational teams to enhance cross-functional communication and support business KPIs.
• Work with Supply Planning to optimize warehouse availability and manage supply and deployment planning for child warehouses.
• Collaborate with the modeling team to produce statistical forecasts.
• Engage in the IBP process and oversee the demand planning tool.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for service issues, forecast error, and bias, sharing insights with leadership.
• Lead the Make-to-order process for select customers and organize supply in accordance with requirements.
• Manage and direct the market-level S&OE process in collaboration with commercial and supply chain stakeholders.
• Partner with Sales and the Central Demand Team to integrate NPIs and seasonal trends into baseline forecasts.
• Facilitate weekly S&OE meetings aimed at identifying opportunities and risks.
• Monitor primary and secondary sales, along with norms, to avert overstocking or understocking at depots/RDs.
• Ensure SKU supply availability across warehouses through inter-depot movements.
• Collaborate with Supply to optimize days of cover and enhance fill rate.
• Oversee and manage inventory aging through targeted interventions.
• Foster cross-functional communication among sales, demand planning, and product supply teams.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and logical reasoning abilities.
• Proficiency in understanding and interpreting data.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Power BI, and other data analytical tools.
• High-level competence in SAP.
• Experience in demand and supply planning within an FMCG/CPG company.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and manage diverse stakeholders.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a readiness to embrace challenges.
• Capability to handle high-stakes conversations independently.
• Attention to detail while maintaining a focus on the broader perspective.
