Field Auto Appraiser

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Meet with customers at their residences, repair facilities, or tow yards.

• Prepare estimates and assist customers through the repair or total loss journey.

• Perform in-person visits, conduct virtual inspections, and engage in written correspondence.

• Work in conjunction with body shops and service providers.

• Examine claims through thorough damage assessments and policy analysis to ascertain coverage.

• Maintain communication with customers via phone, email, and video chat throughout the claims process.

• Assess and negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.

• Utilize estimating tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to facilitate claims resolution.

• Meticulously document claims and keep timely records within the claims system.

• Participate in onboarding, licensing, and role-specific training sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in auto collision estimating using CCC or Mitchell.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong attention to detail, with the capacity to create accurate and comprehensive estimates.

• Proficient in utilizing technology and various platforms for claims processing.

• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

• Valid driver's license and a willingness to travel.

• Must reside in Bellevue, WA (King County, Washington).

• Required to attend mandatory training sessions, engage in virtual learning activities, and successfully complete the training program.

• Necessary licenses must be secured within 60 days of employment and maintained, including continuing education and state-related renewal obligations.

• Must undergo a background investigation.

• Must have a dedicated, distraction-free workspace when working remotely.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
