This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Collaborate with the project team to coordinate tasks with subcontractors and vendors.
• Assist in ensuring the effective and safe execution of projects.
• Oversee laborers and craft workers or manage a designated segment of the project.
• Interpret construction documents, plans, and specifications accurately.
• Manage and inspire the workforce to achieve project goals.
• Engage with Project Engineers regarding assembly, organization, workflow, and review of RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, and record drawings.
• Evaluate work quality to ensure high standards.
• Monitor and enforce OSHA and Beck safety policies and procedures diligently.
• Aid in the development and adherence to schedules for assigned scopes of work.
• Participate in project layout and field engineering activities.
• Create and maintain daily reports to track progress.
• Identify and familiarize oneself with Lean Construction practices and principles.
• Follow directions, work collaboratively with team members, and complete assigned tasks effectively.
• Understand and utilize the basics of Bluebeam software.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience in construction.
• College graduate with a relevant degree, OR equivalent experience as a Field Foreman or Field Engineer.
• Basic awareness of safety protocols.
• Experience in a supervisory role.
• Capability to maintain daily reports consistently.
• Fundamental understanding of project documentation.
• Internship experience with a commercial construction company is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, and Revit or similar construction technologies is advantageous.
• Eagerness to learn and be mentored by experienced professionals.
• Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Strong collaborative communication skills.
• Effective time management abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of building construction principles.
• Dependability in maintaining consistent and timely attendance.
• Capacity to frequently ascend and descend ladders and stairs.
• Ability to work in various outdoor weather conditions.
• Capability to move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. around the job site.
• Ability to navigate constantly around a job site on uneven surfaces.
• Capacity to stand for extended periods throughout the day.
