This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
β’ Deliver technical support to customers during both pre-sales and post-sales phases concerning vision systems, CMOS image sensors, FPGAs, and imaging SoCs.
β’ Aid clients with system integration, troubleshooting, and the optimization of imaging solutions.
β’ Facilitate both on-site and remote technical training sessions for customers and partners.
β’ Collaborate with clients to comprehend application requirements and create customized solutions.
β’ Assist in the design, development, and testing of bespoke applications and solutions.
β’ Offer technical guidance and support during evaluation and implementation stages.
β’ Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the product range, including technical specifications, features, and benefits.
β’ Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competing products.
β’ Serve as a technical intermediary between customers, sales teams, and solution development teams.
β’ Establish and nurture relationships with key customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
β’ Conduct follow-ups to facilitate successful implementation and address ongoing technical challenges.
β’ Collect customer feedback to inform the development and enhancement of solutions.
β’ Support the sales team in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities.
β’ Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
β’ Create and present technical demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
β’ At least 5 years of experience in a field applications engineering role or a similar position, with a focus on vision systems.
β’ In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with CMOS image sensors, FPGAs, and imaging SoCs.
β’ Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to troubleshoot intricate technical issues.
β’ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
β’ Self-driven and able to work independently in a remote environment.
β’ Openness to travel within North America as required.
β’ Familiarity with software development and programming languages pertinent to imaging systems.
β’ Experience in a customer-facing role with a demonstrated history of ensuring customer satisfaction.
β’ Proficiency in one or more imaging application areas, such as machine vision, scientific imaging, IoT, embedded imaging, automotive imaging, AR/VR, etc.
