This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deploy new coordinate measuring machines at customer locations.
• Execute retrofits, calibration, and certification of current coordinate measuring machine setups using the latest Renishaw technology.
• Assist in the installation and integration of new products onto existing coordinate measuring machines, both onsite and offsite.
• Offer technical and commercial assistance for CGPD products to the direct sales team and distributors.
• Analyze and resolve product-related issues for both internal and external sales teams.
• Educate end users, integrators, and staff on CGPD products.
• Develop and update technical troubleshooting documentation.
• Support trade shows, exhibitions, and open house events.
• Travel within the country, typically over 75%, with occasional international trips.
• Execute other assigned responsibilities.
• At least a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Capability to grasp and interpret engineering principles.
• Familiarity with electronic and mechanical principles.
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities.
• Aptitude for Information Technology.
• Proficiency in computer usage.
• Strong mathematical abilities, including knowledge of trigonometry.
• Must be eligible to utilize and access ITAR-controlled data, adhering to U.S. export control laws.
• Experience in manufacturing, quality control, metrology, or CMM operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of Renishaw’s CMM and Gauging products.
• Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Experience with CAD/CAM in a manufacturing or quality control setting.
• Prior internship experience in part manufacturing.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical technical systems.
• Manual dexterity and the physical capability to install products in a standard production environment.
• Proficient with Windows-based computer systems.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Strong time management skills and a commitment to completing assigned tasks.
