This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Visit customer locations to establish relationships, address technical inquiries, and provide hands-on support for product applications.
• Assist customers with component selection, evaluation, qualification, and series production.
• Cultivate customer relationships through site visits, phone and video meetings, technical seminars, and various customer engagement activities.
• Offer technical assistance to outside sales personnel.
• Collaborate with internal teams and international colleagues.
• Identify and relay customer needs, application challenges, and market trends to management, Product Management, and Product Definition Engineering.
• Create and present technical presentations, training sessions, product demonstrations, and seminars.
• Provide expert technical support for electronic components and basic assistance for electromechanical components, including handling documentation and data requests.
• Represent Würth Elektronik eiSos at trade exhibitions, conferences, and industry events.
• Foster relationships with semiconductor-partner FAEs and FSEs to support customer-specific design achievements.
• Contribute to regional, national, and international conferences, workshops, and eiSos Technical Academy initiatives.
• Influence innovative electronic projects from conception to production while strengthening sustainable customer relationships.
• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Communications Engineering, or a similar technical qualification.
• Practical experience in application engineering, field applications, technical sales, hardware development, or a related customer-facing technical role.
• A solid understanding of electronic components and their applications.
• Knowledge of electromechanical components is a plus.
• Capability to analyze technical requirements, clearly communicate complex topics, and develop customer-oriented solutions.
• Confident presentation and training abilities for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong skills in relationship-building and a collaborative, dependable work style.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the region.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in additional regional languages is advantageous.
• Familiarity with common digital communication and presentation tools.
• Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites 20–40% of the time, including approximately 10–15 weeks of domestic travel and 1–4 weeks of international travel annually.
