Field Application Scientist – EMEA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical expertise to sales representatives, resellers, and clients throughout the sales cycle.

• Advocate for Cytiva Nano Medicine products, managing leads and prospects, cultivating opportunities, and enhancing account engagement.

• Participate in trade shows and conferences, offering high-level technical knowledge.

• Assess customer processes, pinpoint solutions, and supply tools, information, and support to drive additional sales and uncover new opportunities.

• Build and nurture relationships with customers and key decision-makers.

• Establish quarterly territory priorities and contribute to key account strategies.

• Acquire knowledge of Cytiva Nano Medicine products, customer applications, competitive offerings, funding, market trends, and end-user requirements.

• Relay strategic and competitive customer insights to Marketing and Product Development teams.

• Organize and lead on-site and in-house training sessions for customers.

• Facilitate application-focused seminars and product demonstrations.

• Offer applications and technical training to the sales team.

• Provide customer applications support via phone, email, and in-person interactions.

• Troubleshoot issues related to user technical skills, applications, and instruments.

• Assess whether problem resolution falls under sales, engineering, or other company personnel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's Degree in genomic medicines or nanomedicine.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience.

• Proven experience in applications or laboratory work in nanoparticle formulation, drug delivery, or cell biology.

• Proficient in troubleshooting instrumentation and applications.

• Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and account-management abilities in a commercial setting.

• A knack for the sales process and a collaborative team player.

• Insight into customers' primary business drivers.

• Capacity to work autonomously and be a self-motivated individual focused on customer satisfaction.

• Strong communication skills and experience in delivering scientific presentations.

• Proven technical writing skills.

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• Willingness and ability to travel internationally across Europe.

• PhD is preferred.
