This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and technical assistance to IDT clients both before and after sales, focusing on product suggestions and usage.
• Offer expertise in experimental and assay design for customers.
• Create technical documentation and training materials.
• Engage with and assist customers by providing technical support for genomics products during pre- and post-sales.
• Diagnose product usage and applications utilizing customer-supplied data alongside IDT sales and manufacturing databases.
• Respond to customer queries via phone, email, and chat.
• Assist IDT service departments and Sales by consulting or escalating inquiries regarding products, customer concerns, and technical issues.
• Manage the intake and execution of custom design requests.
• Report to the Senior Manager of Scientific Applications Support for EMEA & APAC as part of the EMEA Scientific Application Support Team.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline is mandatory.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in genomics applications within an industry or academic research lab setting, or relevant experience in the life sciences sector is required.
• Prior experience in a customer-facing capacity is essential.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and typing, are required.
• Exceptional communication skills are necessary.
• A Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a relevant scientific field is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in genomics applications within an industry or academic research laboratory is preferred.
