This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Formulate and implement product line strategies that align with the company's objectives and sales goals.
• Oversee lifecycle planning, portfolio positioning, and cross-selling efforts for designated products.
• Keep track of industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to refine positioning and strategy.
• Direct the strategy and execution for a range of industrial instrumentation products.
• Discover opportunities to enhance instrumentation offerings and bolster relationships with key vendor partners.
• Manage daily interactions with assigned manufacturers and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, programs, rebates, and marketing funds.
• Facilitate communication between suppliers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with vendors on joint business planning to enhance adoption and market share.
• Represent Kele Industrial Automation at distributor meetings organized by key vendors.
• Provide product training, resources, and expertise to the sales team.
• Act as the product subject matter expert for opportunity development and customer acquisition.
• Work alongside field sales teams on customer engagements, joint sales efforts, and application-based solution development.
• Offer guidance on product selection for industrial applications and translate customer needs into effective solutions.
• Support marketing initiatives, content creation, promotional strategies, and product messaging.
• Participate in trade shows, webinars, and events as a product SME.
• Conduct product training sessions for internal sales teams and external customers.
• Create tools, guides, and resources for discussions related to products.
• Lead foundational training on industrial instrumentation for new sales team members.
• Provide ongoing education across various instrumentation categories and applications.
• Ensure compliance with standardized processes for product launches, supplier onboarding, and marketing execution.
• Contribute insights into operational enhancements and best practices in product management.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Distribution, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with an emphasis on execution and outcomes.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience working in cross-functional settings and managing competing priorities.
• Over 5 years of experience with industrial instrumentation products or related technical solutions.
• Demonstrated capacity to apply technical product knowledge to practical customer applications.
• Experience in supporting sales teams through training, customer interactions, and solution development.
• Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., Epicor, Salesforce, Power BI, Microsoft CRM).
• Knowledge of industrial controls, instrumentation, and sensor products including Measurement & Inspection sensors, RFID, Barcode, Safety, LIDAR, Vision, Thermal, Pressure, Level, Temperature Controls, and Flow.
• Familiarity with industrial vertical markets such as food & beverage, pulp & paper, water & wastewater, oil & gas, chemical, power, and manufacturing.
• Experience collaborating with major industrial sensor and instrumentation manufacturers.
• Familiarity with leading automation and instrumentation platforms is highly desirable.
• Background in supporting a diverse range of industries and applications.
