ETL/BI Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Install, configure, update, optimize, monitor, and troubleshoot Informatica and Cognos applications within extensive MMIS operating environments.

• Collaborate with various teams to achieve deliverables.

• Address tickets and inquiries within the designated time frame.

• Provide prompt communication regarding actions and status, and engage in meetings.

• Conduct company administrative tasks, including mandatory training, timekeeping, goal/performance activities, and adherence to policies, processes, and procedures.

• Implement projects or system modifications outside of regular business hours as necessary.

• Embrace additional technologies as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrate discipline and integrity while working with US-based teams and communicating effectively.

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience with Cognos v11 and v12, as well as Informatica PowerCenter v10.x, IDMC, and CDI-PC on Linux.

• Experience in configuring LDAP, Active Directory, and SSO authentication.

• Proven ability to manage Cognos servers, gateways, dispatchers, and content store databases.

• Experience in deploying and migrating Cognos reports and Informatica code across different environments.

• Proficient in troubleshooting report failures, server issues, and production problems.

• Experience in coordinating with development teams.

• Skilled in tuning and optimizing ETL jobs.

• Experience in managing backups, recovery, and migration between DEV, QA, and PROD environments.

• Knowledge of implementing high availability and disaster recovery strategies.

• Experience in creating and editing published system documentation.

• Willingness to work outside regular business hours to implement projects or system changes.

• Hands-on experience with Forgerock, Business Objects v4.3 in a clustered configuration, or Tableau is advantageous.
