FedRAMP Site Reliability Engineer – CloudVision

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become a part of Arista’s FedRAMP CloudVision-as-a-Service Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team.

• Manage the global CloudVision service fleet.

• Guarantee the scalability, reliability, and stability of production systems at scale.

• Lead, develop, and drive projects focused on data platform architecture and performance.

• Conduct capacity planning, autoscaling, disaster recovery, observability, and change management.

• Engage in CI/CD, service network architecture, cost optimization, infrastructure, and cloud-first application security.

• Take part in the FedRAMP on-call rotation.

• Create and manage Kubernetes-native CloudVision infrastructure.

• Work with GCP, GKE, Golang, Python, Ansible/Pulumi, Bash, databases, and open-source software projects.

• Develop, manage, and operate databases deployed directly on Kubernetes or through managed database services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Experience in managing FedRAMP SaaS environments or other highly regulated systems.

• Demonstrated proficiency in developing or managing deployments of distributed database systems or large-scale SaaS applications.

• Skilled in Python, Go (Golang), or other programming languages.

• Strong scripting capabilities in Bash or other scripting languages.

• Familiarity with GCP and GKE is preferred.

• Ability to participate in the FedRAMP on-call rotation, shared between West and East coast time zones.
