This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
• Act as the leading subject matter expert for storage and associated products
• Drive storage sales within designated federal territories, industries, or accounts
• Identify and pursue new solution opportunities and business ventures
• Develop and oversee the storage sales pipeline
• Capture leads beyond specialization, ensuring proper assignment and follow-up
• Collaborate with account pursuit teams, HPE teams, account managers, Presales, channel partners, and stakeholders
• Enhance sales readiness through knowledge transfer regarding storage
• Contribute to quota targets and the direction of product lines
• Maintain pipeline integrity, internal sales tools, and account strategies
• Evaluate technical and business solution feasibility and qualify opportunities
• Negotiate and drive profitable deals to successful closure
• Establish consultative relationships with mid- to large-account clients, including C-level executives
• Position HPE products and services by leveraging competitor and industry insights
• Build channel relationships, enable key technologies, and co-sell to end users
• Lead and coordinate storage marketing initiatives
• Serve as a trusted advisor for storage solutions
• Communicate HPE strategy and portfolio effectively to partners and customers
• Illustrate the ROI and TCO advantages of HPE offerings
• Foster customer relationships to ensure account retention and growth
• Assist in deal closure with internal stakeholders and channel partners
• Orchestrate regional pursuit resources and manage external partnerships
• Over 6 years of sales experience
• More than 5 years of sales experience with the Federal Government
• Experience working with Federal System Integrators
• US citizenship is mandatory
• At least 2 years of experience in storage sales
• Proven record of achieving progressively higher quotas
• Experience engaging with diverse business customers at all levels
• Extensive knowledge of vertical industries
• University or Bachelor's degree is preferred
• Expertise in storage, cloud, solution, or service offerings and knowledge of competitor offerings
• Familiarity with digital and modern methods for connection and sales
• In-depth expertise in comprehensive data solutions utilizing the HPE storage portfolio and partner ecosystem
• Strong financial acumen
• Understanding of IT, applications, CIO budgets, objectives, measures, and metrics
• Knowledge and application of program/project management methodologies and processes
• Ability to persuade, negotiate, motivate, coach, and support sales teams
