Family Nurse Practitioner – Telehealth, Substance Use Disorder

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Oversee member care in collaboration with counselors, therapists, peer support specialists, and case managers

• Deliver evidence-based treatment for individuals dealing with substance use disorders

• Perform initial and follow-up telehealth assessments

• Provide care specifically for substance use

• Prescribe medications as necessary and respond to member inquiries

• Maintain documentation in the Healthie EHR system

• Work in partnership with the care team

• Participate in occasional scheduled team meetings

• Engage in periodic meetings with internal teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid and verifiable FNP license in the state(s) where you practice, and in Ohio if you reside outside of Ohio

• Active, unrestricted license in Ohio

• Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in addiction; relevant prior experience may be accepted for candidates with less than 2 years as an FNP

• Experience in prescribing Suboxone

• Current DEA registration

• Willingness to pursue multi-state licensure

• Compassion for members facing behavioral health challenges

• Proficiency in using technology, including EHRs and mobile applications

• A quiet, private office with a reliable internet connection for HIPAA-compliant telehealth consultations
