Faculty Success – Instructional Designer

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Engage in discovery discussions and product demonstrations with educators.

β€’ Comprehend educators’ current teaching methodologies, goals, and how Classavo can assist.

β€’ Adapt existing course materials and teaching strategies into the Classavo platform.

β€’ Oversee professor onboarding, course configuration, instructional design, and training sessions.

β€’ Support professors in executing successful course launches.

β€’ Manage implementation schedules, commitments, and any potential challenges.

β€’ Provide post-launch support to professors and promote successful adoption.

β€’ Identify opportunities for enhancement and expansion of successful Classavo courses.

β€’ Resolve issues and coordinate additional assistance with the Classavo team.

β€’ Take ownership of professor success from initial contact through to successful adoption.

β€’ Collaborate closely with professors, the sales team, and the wider Classavo team.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Ideal candidates will have experience in instructional design along with roles in sales, customer success, implementation, or other client-facing positions.

β€’ A solid understanding of educational culture and the thought processes, work styles, and decision-making of educators is essential.

β€’ Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities are required.

β€’ Familiarity with software or technology is necessary.

β€’ Must be able to quickly grasp new technology, explain it clearly, and instill confidence in educators using it.

β€’ Experience with LMS platforms or EdTech is advantageous.

β€’ Background in instructional design, curriculum development, or learning design is beneficial.

β€’ Experience in sales, customer success, implementation, training, or another client-facing role is a plus.

β€’ Classroom teaching experience in K–12 or higher education is favorable.

β€’ A strong desire to thrive in an entrepreneurial setting is important.

β€’ Ability to manage multiple professors, deadlines, and obligations is required.

β€’ Proficiency in effectively troubleshooting software issues is necessary.

β€’ Candidates must complete a brief practical exercise during the interview process.

β€’ Submission of a 3–5 minute Loom video along with the application is required.
