Faculty for Clinical Supervision – Counselling Diploma Program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Conduct clinical supervision sessions to enhance students’ counselling skills, clinical judgment, and professional competence.

• Assist students in their client work through case discussions, clinical guidance, and constructive feedback.

• Offer direct observation and constructive critiques of students’ counselling practices, when applicable.

• Evaluate students’ clinical documentation and case conceptualizations.

• Aid students in navigating clinical, ethical, and professional challenges.

• Encourage reflection and discussion that integrates counselling theory, clinical experiences, and professional growth.

• Evaluate and provide feedback on students' clinical work and course assignments.

• Keep records of student progress and ensure timely submission of evaluations, grades, and necessary documentation.

• Adhere to Rhodes Wellness College policies, procedures, and guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology or an equivalent qualification.

• A minimum of six years of professional counselling experience post-graduation.

• Current registration or membership with a recognized Canadian counselling organization, such as CPCA, ACCT, BCACC, CRPO, or another acknowledged professional counselling association.

• Completion of a recognized supervisor training program or registration as a qualified supervisor with a recognized professional counselling association.

• Strong clinical experience and a demonstrated commitment to professional counselling practice.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Experience or familiarity with experiential learning and facilitation methods.

• Background in teaching or facilitating online education for adult learners.

• Reliable internet connection suitable for synchronous teaching via Zoom.

• Preference will be given to candidates with post-secondary teaching experience.
