Facilities Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Oversee retail and corporate banking properties within designated counties.

• Respond to emergencies and remain available on call; work overtime as necessary based on business requirements.

• Plan and manage projects, budgets, maintenance, construction, relocations, and renovations.

• Independently execute 40–60% of maintenance and non-contracted services.

• Establish work processes for vendors and contractors.

• Liaise with internal customers and property owners.

• Utilize the Facilities Management work-order system effectively.

• Engage in staff and departmental meetings.

• Complete all mandatory in-person and online training sessions.

• Conduct quarterly visits to all assigned properties.

• Perform annual site assessments and document them in the work-order software.

• Assist the Functional Coordinator, Facilities Manager II, and Regional Facility Manager.

• Verify vendor performance and pricing structures.

• Carry out HVAC filter replacements, lighting, plumbing, electrical, and both exterior and interior repairs.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Valid Driver's License is required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Facilities Management, including preventative maintenance for multiple facilities, minor plumbing, heating/cooling, basic electrical repairs, furniture relocations, and vendor maintenance coordination.

• Proven experience in creating and managing facility-repair budgets and evaluating vendor proposals.

• Proficient in computer applications, including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Familiarity with Facilities Management software is essential.

• Knowledge and skills related to building maintenance, particularly HVAC.

• Capability to lift weights of up to 50 pounds.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong project management abilities, including budgeting and documentation skills.

• Trade Certifications are preferred.

• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

• Candidates must reside in the Savannah, GA or Charleston, SC region.
