Facilities Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee facilities and the Cap X remodeling program for 45–55 restaurant locations.

• Supervise emergency projects, including incidents such as fires, vehicle strikes, theft, and store closures.

• Administer preventative maintenance programs for designated locations.

• Distribute educational resources to operators regarding building components.

• Manage schedules for Cap X remodels and handle replacement account purchases.

• Coordinate monthly and quarterly schedules with operations teams.

• Oversee project bids and manage contracts with contractors and suppliers.

• Liaise with accounting and finance to guarantee accurate forecasts through monthly discussions.

• Ensure construction vendors comply with brand standards and quality control requirements during remodel projects.

• Oversee preventative maintenance programs for RTU and exhaust hoods.

• Administer preventative maintenance programs for water heaters and ice machines.

• Collaborate with IT on special initiatives such as digital kitchen and recipes projects.

• Partner with restaurant operators and cross-functional teams across Central and East Tennessee.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• Extensive experience in facilities maintenance across multiple locations is required.

• Strong skills in negotiation, networking, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

• Experience in managing contractors, vendors, bids, and juggling multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel is essential.

• Experience with Smartsheet and CMX-1 is preferred.

• HVAC and OSHA certifications are advantageous.

• Ability to foster strong partnerships with restaurant operators and cross-functional teams.

• Willingness to travel 75% of the time.

• Availability for on-call duties 24/7.

• Monthly travel to Houston, Texas is required.
