Experienced Spanish Interpreter – LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise consecutive interpretation primarily within medical environments.

• Provide interpretation services for social services, customer care, and financial clients.

• Uphold complete impartiality and confidentiality in all interactions.

• Begin with over-the-phone interpretation (OPI).

• Advance through a clear pathway to video remote interpretation (VRI).

• Aim for higher-paying VRI roles and core staff positions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–12+ months of experience in remote medical interpretation.

• C1 level of English proficiency, verified through EF SET 4-Skill, TOEFL, or CAE.

• Preferred certifications: ALTA (9+) or LanguageStat/PICSI (75%–80%+), issued within the last 12 months.

• Strong command of medical and customer service terminology.

• HIPAA and FWA certified, or willing to pursue certification.

• Clean background check required.

• Hardwired Ethernet connection; Wi-Fi is not acceptable.

• USB noise-canceling headset is necessary.

• Windows 10+ computer with at least 4GB RAM is required.

• A private and quiet workspace is essential.

• Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

• Candidates should reside in Latin America.
