Experienced Mechanical Calculation and Piping Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Conduct sizing and dimensioning for piping systems along with their supports.

• Coordinate with various departments of the client to prepare and manage design modifications as necessary.

• Generate reports on flexibility and support calculations.

• Supervise and assess calculation reports.

• Engage in the development and enhancement of tools.

• Ensure technical oversight of the project while maintaining the technical interface with the client.

• Collaborate with the General Installation team and drafter/design teams.

• Provide support to the EDF group across its various projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited institution.

• At least 3 years of experience in mechanical calculations, encompassing both static and vibration analysis.

• Expertise in CAESAR II, Pipestress, or ROHR2 software.

• Proficient in English to facilitate collaboration with international colleagues.

• Familiarity with nuclear standards concerning flexibility analysis.

• Strong autonomy combined with a robust team-oriented mindset.

• Attention to detail and the ability to adapt swiftly in day-to-day operations.
